Registered Nurses – Casual Positions

The Guysborough Antigonish Strait Health Authority, Guysborough Memorial Hospital Site, located in Guysborough, Nova Scotia, requires the services of casual Registered Nurses.

Minimum Qualifications:  Current registration in the province of Nova Scotia.  Good work record; ability to work as member of the health care team.  Demonstrated commitment to the philosophy of family centred/holistic care.  Utilization of nursing process.  Certification in CPR, ACLS, TNCC, PALS & ENPC (or willing to obtain).  Competency in EKG interpretation or willingness to participate in necessary upgrading. Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education.  Previous experience in a rural health care setting an asset skills.
