Essential Qualifications

• Active New Brunswick RN registration or eligible for such registration. 
• Must have recent L&D experience within the last two years.
• Must be bilingual in accordance with South-East Regional Health Authority policy, ie. ability to speak and write English and ability to speak French.
• Must have NRP certification, Fetal Monitoring, and Breast Feeding Module within six (6) months.
• All mandatory certifications must be up to date.
• Must have excellent assessment and communication skills
• Team orientated individual with critical thinking abilities and independent critical judgement.
• Mentally and physically able to perform assigned duties. 
• Good previous work and attendance records.

To coordinate the care of each patient's needs through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The needs of the family will be identified, and the appropriate resources notified.
