Essential Qualifications:
- Active registration with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick or eligible for such registration.
- (34CCU) At least one year's experience in critical care, or completion of Critical Care Course.
- (3400) At least one year Medical-Surgical Nursing.
- All mandatory and relevant certifications must be up to date.
- Required current certifications - BCMI, BCLS, ACLS
- Obtains unit specific skills as required in the established timeframes.
- Mentally and physically able to perform assigned duties.
- Good previous work records.
- Must be able to attend work on a regular basis.

Basic Duties:
To holistically coordinate the care of each patient, incorporating the nursing profession's values of knowledge, theory and practice. To assess, plan, implement and evaluate the needs of patients and significant others in the delivery of care and collaborate with all members of the interdisciplinary team in this approach. Attends all cardiac arrests and advanced care teams within the facility. Provides RN escort via ambulance for patients as required.
