River Valley Health has an immediate opportunity for two permanent full-time Registered Nurses on the Medical/Palliative and Paediatric Unit at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville.

As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse in the Primary Care Program provides quality patient care for a full range of services, within the scope of professional nursing practice, to patients and families during all developmental stages.

Qualifications:

• Active registration with NANB
• Demonstrated ability to perform CPR according to BCLS standards
• Demonstrated ability to respond to emergency situations, rapidly changing priorities and complex patient care needs
• Demonstrated assessment skills and ability to function independently with minimum supervision
• Demonstrated teaching, communication, interpersonal and team-building skills
