The Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission is now accepting applications for a casual position of Nurse in the Work Recovery Program. This position is located in Grand Bay - Westfield, NB.

As the Nurse, reporting to the Manager, Work Recovery, you will provide nursing care and services through consultation to the program.

Duties will include, but not be limited to, assisting in the rehabilitation of clients by providing assessment and delivery of nursing care, carrying out nursing admissions, observing and reporting symptoms and conditions, and maintaining accurate and timely treatment records. The Nurse will also be responsible to set up treatment trays, prepare instruments, assist physicians with medical procedures and to schedule specialists' appointments/investigative tests for clients and insure that required information is taken/sent to the hospital or doctor's office for scheduled appointment. The Nurse will also be responsible for providing translation for staff physician as required

As the successful applicant, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing; have current registration with the Nurses' Association of New Brunswick and two years Occupational Health nursing experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Written and spoken competence in English and spoken competence in French are required.

The Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission (WHSCC) offers a competitive salary of $25.79 hourly. In addition, WHSCC offers no weekends or evening work. This competition will remain open until suitable candidates are found.
