Essential Qualifications:
- Graduate nurse – actively registered in New Brunswick or eligible for such registration.
- At least two years experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing.
- Current Cardiac Monitor Interpretation Course or successful in challenge exam at time of hire.
- Current ACLS or willing to complete within six months
- On call for Emergency Department on rotating basis.
- Ability to perform a broad range of duties which change frequently.
- Mentally and physically able to perform assigned duties.
- Must have good work and attendance records.
- All mandatory certifications must be up to date.
- May have to float to Day Surgery if needed.

Basic Duties:
To co-ordinate the care of each patient's needs through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The needs of the family will be identified, and the appropriate resources notified. Assists with research projects.
