Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing– Registered with NANB.
- At least five years of clinical nursing experience and proven competency as a practitioner.
- Must be bilingual in accordance with South-East Regional Health Authority policy, ie. ability to speak and write English and ability to speak French.
- Demonstrates ability as a role model/mentor in an interdisciplinary team.
- Progressive nursing experience in which leadership has been demonstrated.
- Demonstrates competency in interpersonal relations, decision-making, problem-solving and communication.
- All mandatory certifications must be up to date.
- Mentally and physically capable of performing duties.
- Good previous work record and attendance records.

Basic Duties:
To plan, organize, direct, monitor and continuously improve the utilization of available financial, material, and human resources so as to provide the most effective and efficient care possible to patients and families in the Women & Children's Health Program. To provide leadership and assume responsibility, authority and accountability for the standards of nursing practice and delivery of care in accordance with the philosophy, objectives, and policies of the Women's and Children's Health Program and South-East Regional Health Authority.
