Home Support Workers / Continuing Care Assistants
(Full-Time, Part-Time & Casual)

VON Colchester East Hants Branch requires Home Support Workers / Continuing Care Assistants to provide services including personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation and respite to clients in their own homes.  VON offers flexible work hours, competitive compensation, an employee assistance program, an employee recognition program, comprehensive group benefits coverage for full and part-time employees, as well as a pension plan.  The qualifications are:

• Home Support Worker Certification/Continuing Care Assistant Certification
• Current CPR/Standard First Aid Certification
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.  Mileage is currently paid at $0.4051 per km.
