EMC Emergency Medical Care Inc. is Nova Scotia's largest service provider of pre-hospital ambulance care, with over 1,000 employees dedicated to delivering the highest quality emergency care to local communities.  EMC operates under the authority of the Nova Scotia Department of Health, Emergency Health Services (EHS) and has a long-term contract to provide ground ambulance services for the Province as well as the air ambulance service, LifeFlight.
