Senior Fundraising Officer

Our client, a well-known local not-for-profit has an immediate need for a Senior Fundraising Officer to be responsible for the hands on development of funds as well as the management, implementation, and evaluation of an emerging fundraising program.  The Officer will be responsible for fundraising, generating donor relationships, building a strong fundraising case, and employing appropriate donor stewardship as part of expanding the organization’s fundraising activities. In addition to the hands-on development responsibilities, the Officer will work with the senior leadership team, board members, and senior volunteers to establish the organization’s fundraising culture and help ensure the long-term sustainability of its fundraising programs. 

As the successful candidate, you should have a post secondary education and a proven track record in raising funds.  Your experience should consist of at least 4 years in fund development and ideally you have experience in promoting a fundraising-centric culture.  A Certified Fund Raising Executive designation is considered an asset, as is experience in building major gifts and planned giving programs.  This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their career by utilizing their strong hands-on fundraising abilities while also establishing themselves as a strategic fund development professional.
