As a Consultant you will:
- Work in a collaborative team analyzing client issues and interviewing key personnel
- Assist with the development of recommendations, solutions and presentations for client engagements
- Participate in client presentations
- Identify issues and define symptoms and root causes
- Prioritize your objectives and contribute to project planning and status reporting
- Perform implementation of key security architecture components such as routers, dialup access servers, switches, firewalls, VPN solutions, intrusion detection solutions and network management applications
- Apply information security principles, techniques and standards for network operating systems
- Identify and resolve complex issues and develop innovative solutions for clients
- Provide technical assistance relating to the design and implementation of security and controls of clients' networks
- Develop security policies, standards and procedures
Qualifications:
- Completed undergraduate degree in related field
- Post graduate degree and/or a professional designation are an asset
- CISSP, CISA, SANS, Microsoft, Cisco, or related IT certifications and/or courses preferred
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in the IT security field
- Internet technology infrastructure experience including: directory services, security architecture, enterprise security management, ERP Application security
- Windows security and/or UNIX experience
- Information security experience with: VPNs/firewalls/TCP/IP, biometrics, smart cards, remote access control and authentication
- Strong commitment to professional client service excellence
- Ability to present recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
- IT Project Management experience preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including both technical and business writing, documentation and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
- Proven analytical skills and systematic problem solving
- Travel required, including occasional international travel. Candidates must be able to enter the USA to work on client assignments
