Now entering its 46^th season, Neptune Theatre is Atlantic Canada’s largest professional theatre with two stages (Fountain Hall and Studio Theatre), a year-round Theatre School and a province-wide Young Neptune Company Tour. 

With almost 70% of revenue coming from earned revenue sources such as box office, Neptune continuously reaches out to engage audiences and as a result is searching for a Marketing Specialist to join the Neptune team.

As the Marketing Specialist you will plan and execute a wide range of marketing initiatives to enhance the Neptune image and assist in meeting sales objectives.  Responsibilities include preparation and execution of marketing tactical plans; execution of advertising plans; generating significant publicity and earned media for each marketing campaign; coordination and execution of market research activities; building strong relationships with media and other stakeholders and overseeing multiple projects to meet deadlines and budgets.

The ideal candidate has an undergraduate degree, preferably in business and/or marketing, combined with 3-5 years experience in a marketing role. Knowledge of marketing principles, business strategies and the advertising process (including the role of social media) is important as are superior written and verbal communication skills. You also give every project attention to detail and are great at determining priorities and delivering results on time. You are energetic, proactive, and resourceful, take tremendous pride in your work and thrive in a fast paced environment.
