Our Southwestern Ontario Insolvency Practice is currently searching for a licensed insolvency professional who can lead our Reorganization Services in the Kitchener or Burlington and surrounding marketplaces, and work with the other Financial Advisory practitioners throughout the region.
 
Reorganization Services provides professional services to individuals and businesses in financial difficulty.  Work can range from the operational/financial restructuring of businesses to formal insolvency proceedings.  We help financially troubled debtors manage their current situation, determine the reasons for their financial difficulties and advise on how they can return to financial stability.
 
Candidates' abilities and other requirements of the job include:
  • Strong client development and marketing skills. 
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Active participation and leadership in various marketing initiatives and practice development activities
  • Growing network of relevant community contacts.
  • Participation in personal and practice eminence building activities.
  • Exceptional oral and written presentation abilities, including articulating proposals and final reports using PowerPoint, Word, Excel.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional, Trustee in Bankruptcy License
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Strong people and management skills with ability to multi task across projects
  • Several years of client management and relationship development experience
  • A self starter, who can work well independently as well as part of a team
  • Highly motivated to work in a fast paced environment
  • Organizational skills for file and time management
  • Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Logical, methodical and commercial approach
  • Client focused, ensuring high quality service
  • Previous management experience
