ISL web marketing & development, a well-established Halifax-based web development firm recognized for its expertise in website design, consulting and marketing services, is actively seeking a Business Analyst to join their team.

At ISL, the Business Analyst is mainly responsible for gathering, interpreting and communicating client requirements. This critical role links sales and customer acquisition to web asset development; the Business Analyst translates customers’ wants and expectations into concrete workable plans that can be effectively carried out by the ISL team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A minimum of four years of related experience ideally complimented by a business or marketing degree or diploma from an accredited institution. 
• Must have at least two years of website experience in a sales, marketing or design capacity.
• Must work well in a collaborative team environment, following established customer processes and be able to communicate efficiently with other team members. 
• Will possess solid presentation skills and be comfortable presenting to large groups of stakeholders and decision makers. 
• Candidate should be fluent in the creation and impactful delivery of PowerPoint presentations. 
• Must be able to use Microsoft Office for correspondence, reporting and presentation purposes and Adobe Acrobat for documentation purposes. 
• Experienced communicator both written and oral. 
• Experience with web-based content management systems or e-commerce applications would be an asset. 
• User interface design, information architecture and web behaviour knowledge would be an asset.
• Knowledge of internet marketing would be an asset.
