Overall Purpose and Objective
Responsible for conducting competitive analysis of target markets, competitors and their products. Designs games that meet the upcoming needs of the market.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts target market research by developing and implementing qualitative and quantitative research initiatives. Conducts in-depth competitive analysis of competitors and their products and prepares market research reports.
- Designs a game line-up strategy for the target market by working with players and customers to assess upcoming needs and travels to target markets to analyze field performance of games.
- Participate in team brainstorming sessions to develop new genre games.
- Builds paytables by using mathematical probabilities which meet all regulatory rules. Contributes to the creation of storyboards in conjunction with the graphic artist. Creates and designs game specifications.
- Prepares market validation and customer satisfaction audit plans and reports. Participates in team meetings.
- Analyzes the data received from the market validation and customer service audits. Provides the initial analysis of market statistics for market refreshment contracts to the Technology Manager
Education:
- Degree in marketing, information technology or electronic game design and/or multimedia design combined with marketing experience or relevant combination of education and experience.
Experience:
- College diploma or Undergraduate degree.
Skills and Knowledge
- Effectively analyze the requirements of a target market.
- Creativity and innovation are valued, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong presentation and analytical skills are a must.
- The successful candidate must be a team player able to multi-task between several highly complex projects.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and familiarity with a graphics software package required.
