Communications Officer

Enterprise Saint John, the community economic development agency for the Greater Saint John region (www.enterprisesj.com), is currently seeking an individual to fill the role of Communications Officer for the Agency.

Applicants must demonstrate experience in the following areas:

• Public Relations, Marketing and Communications
• Brand Management
• Business and Creative Writing
• Project Management
• Administration

Abilities/Skills Required:

• Concise and creative writing skills;
• Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communication;
• Strong organizational skills with ability to balance a variety of tasks and duties on a daily basis;
• Exposure to web site development and content management procedures;
• Hands-on business and community service experience;
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client focused environment;
• A solid understanding of our region's emerging growth sectors: information and communications technology, energy, tourism and health sciences;
• Strong sales and presentation skills;
• Relevant post-secondary education;
• Entrepreneurial attitude;
• A passion for growing our community;
• Bilingualism is an asset.
