Reports To: Shift Supervisor, Security/Parking Services

Location: Crombie REIT (Scotia Square), Halifax, NS

Education: The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a security environment.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Strong written communication skills
• Strong oral communication skills
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills
• A dedication to the safety and security of our customers and tenants
• Computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)

Major Responsibilities:

• Preventative Security patrols of malls and office towers
• Respond and investigate emergency situations
• Respond and investigate various alarms on the complex
• Conduct property inspections, record and report hazardous situations
• Daily “Lock down” and “Unlock” of buildings
• Conduct various parkade patrols
• Be an overall ambassador of the Company
