Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to assume the roles of Auto Underwriter in a dynamic team environment. The successful candidate will be a team oriented individual with a positive attitude, who will contribute to a profitable/growing small business book by making sound underwriting decisions, understanding customer expectations, and providing exceptional customer service.

What you will achieve in this role:

• Develop and underwrite IRC Auto
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate appropriate pricing and terms
• Develop strong relationships with our Brokers
• Underwrite and process new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations
• Contribute to continuous improvement of work processes and procedures
• Answer technical and general questions related to the small business solutions strategy

• Knowledge of HUON an asset
• Auto underwriting experience is an asset
• Willing to work toward the CIP and/or FCIP designation
• College Diploma or University degree or equivalent business experience as asset
