The Vice President People & Planning is at the epicenter of the strategic journey NSCC has embarked upon. Responsible for strategic direction and planning, institutional research, student success, employee success, organizational development, and international activities, the VP People & Planning has the ability to influence every single element of the college. Learners, staff, and partners all triangulate on this role, thus the person we are seeking thrives on seeing connections and making them happen through an intrinsic orientation towards service in a learning organization.

The ideal candidate is a senior academic or student success leader who may have a background in student services; could be a progressive HR leader or might have a career dedicated to faculty development. Regardless of their discipline, the candidate for VP People & Planning must have an unwavering commitment to access, diversity, and student and employee success. We are seeking someone with superb communication skills, a passion for innovation, highly tuned management skills and a rigorous understanding of how NSCC fits into the global economy. As a lifelong learner you yearn to make things better through creative thought and metric driven execution. You have produced outstanding results in complex organizations, by aligning the strengths of the people with the strategy of the organization, to ensure that magic truly happens. You have committed your professional career to fostering organizations that learn in every sense.
