ADP, has more than 1,900 associates across Canada, including 345 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We are currently searching for an experienced Human Resources professional to join our national HR team as a Human Resources Business Partner. 

Based in Halifax, the HR Business Partner will work closely with a client group which stretches across Canada, proactively introducing HR concepts, ideas and solutions. Having developed a full understanding of the client group's business objectives, the incumbent will facilitate the building of a strong leadership team to enhance performance and work effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will be an influential HR leader experienced at driving and managing change and capable of building credibility with the organization's business leaders. Also essential are exceptional coaching and consulting skills and the capacity to implement strategies to enhance employee effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Relevant post-secondary education with a Human Resources designation or equivalent human resources experience
• Minimum 7 years of Human Resources Generalist experience
• Demonstrated capabilities in talent management - Attraction/Retention and Development initiatives
• Thorough understanding of how HR is an impact player on the business team
• Ability to accommodate some travel within Canada (approximate 15%)
