VP HumanResources - A champion of change management

Our client, a successful company in the industrial manufacturing sector, is looking for a dynamic leader who can spearhead cultural change within an organization undergoing rapid growth.

In this key role you will champion change management at a crucial time in the company's history.  You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR function, including employment practices, workplace laws and regulations, recruiting techniques, employee benefits, HR information systems, compensation, and professional development.

Working with the CEO and senior management you will ensure that all HR policies and projects are in line with the company's growth plans. With your knowledge of lean manufacturing, you will establish and oversee programs to train employees in continuous process improvement that leads to increased efficiency and cost-savings.  Additionally, you will be involved in succession planning at all levels within the company.  Another major responsibility will be overseeing leadership and skills training for managers. 

An exceptional communicator, you will be able to provide senior managers with advice and guidance on HR-related matters; everything from coaching to determining competitive benefit plans. Leading by example you will inspire and motivate HR staff to achieve departmental goals and company objectives. You will also stay abreast of workplace trends and practices in the manufacturing industry and introduce changes as required.

To succeed in this high level position you must have a minimum of five years experience in a similar capacity at other large companies in the manufacturing industry. A post-secondary degree in HR Management is essential, and an MBA would be a definite asset. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are a must.
