Our Hamilton client, a non-profit and community based organization, is interested in hiring a Counsellor on a renewable contract basis. Fluent English communication skills required. This position requires you to work 5 days/week; some of these shifts would be evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
Provide advice, counselling/guidance to clients over the telephone Conduct online discussion forums Engage in continuous learning and skills development
Requirements
- completed post secondary education in one of the following disciplines: science, psychology, sociology etc. - understand and be able to apply cognitive behavioural learning - related professional counselling experience an asset - addictions counselling preferred - keyboarding and database experience with the ability to pick up new programs easily - non-smoker

Compensation and Benefits Details
This position pays $33k to start with full time hours, plus benefits and vacation.
