Job Description:

Part time Dental Hygienist in a busy family practice. One or two, 7.5 hour days a week; 8:00am to 4:30pm, with a one hour lunch. This is a well established office with a single owner-dentist, Dr. Lynne Moyles with a busy and loyal patient caseload. We are looking for a hygienist who shares our philosophy of emphasis on periodontal health and preventative dentistry. We have a full time dental hygienist. This position is to replace our part time hygienist who is on maternity leave. It is ideal for someone who may want to commute from Halifax Metro, one hour away. The office is a recently restored older home with staff parking. Digital radiography and computerized scheduling and invoicing are used.

Other dental offices in Truro, including a periodontist, are often looking for a part time dental hygienists. Digital radiography is easy to learn and there are no dark rooms or messy chemicals to deal with.

We can accommodate right or left handed hygienists.
