Responsibilities:
The Registered Cardiology Technologist is responsible for recording electrical activity of the heart through 12 lead electrocardiograms, specialty lead electrocardiograms and ambulatory monitoring through application and removal of Holter and King of Hearts Loop recording devices. The Technologist is also responsible for evaluating and aiding in the diagnosis of patient's cardiac status through the use of Stress Testing (exercise tolerance) and providing ECG testing at NSH and ECFH sites as per schedule.
Qualifications:
* Current registration with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists
* Current BCLS
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Manual dexterity required
* Demonstrates independent judgement
Hours of Work:
Casual relief
Salary: Registered Cardiology Technologist (Advanced):
$20.9791 - $22.5314 hourly
