Essential Qualifications

  1. Must be licensed with the New Brunswick Pharmaceutical Society, or eligible for licensing.  
  2. Completion of an advanced clinical pharmacy practice program/degree (i.e. hospital pharmacy residency program, Pharm D).
  3. An active membership with the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists.  
  4. Experience in hospital pharmacy practice with proven clinical pharmacy skills.
  5. Evidence of leadership, problem solving, decision-making skills, management and commitment to the achievement of the mission, vision and goals of SERHA.   
  6. Positive attitude combined with exceptional interpersonal, team building, organizational and communication skills.
  7. Ability to function well in stressful situations, and work in a multidisciplinary team environment. 
  8. Good attendance and performance records.
  9. All mandatory certifications must be up to date.

Basic Duties
The Clinical Coordinator, Pharmacy Services, is responsible for the overall development, management and cost effectiveness of clinical pharmacy services, including the organization, education and evaluation of the pharmacists in these programs. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible to oversee the hospital pharmacy residency program, co-ordinate the clinical, teaching and research activities of Pharmacy Services for the Regional Health Authority.
