What the Labourer Level 1 position has to offer:

• Full time permanent unionized positions under CUPE Local #3226.  Starting wage of $16.95/hr

We are looking for individuals with the following talents:

• Like working in a fast paced team environment
• Trouble shooting aptitude
• Positive work ethic who wants to be part of a team
• Ability to perform manual labour that may involve the construction, installation, maintenance and repair to equipment, building, facilities and green spaces and heavy lifting
• Capable of using small hand tools and specialized equipment
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the classification
• Ability to work in various climate conditions
• Ability to work shiftwork, overtime and on-call rotations
• Good hand and eye coordination

Applicant must possess:

• Completion of grade 12
• A valid Class 5 motor vehicle driver's license (class 3E preferred) and a clean driving record
• Must be eligible for police criminal check
