District Manager
Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the District Manager provides on-site support to a designated number of company stores within an assigned region. The District Manager is responsible for executing operational procedures and/or systems to ensure all Store Managers maintain their store at the optimum sales level and that the Store Managers are equipped with the tools, procedures and knowledge required in order to run a profitable location.
Responsibilities
- Focusing on our customer needs by exceeding their expectations
- Prepares weekly/monthly store goals and expectations with each Store Manager in assigned region
- Weekly review of Key Performance Indicators of business – analyze results and recommend changes
- Ensures all Company forms and checklist are completed by Store Managers
- Participates in weekly meetings and conference calls as need be
- Executing all for Company promotional events, etc. for assigned region
- Assisting with the development of strategic and operational plans for assigned region.
- Assisting Store Managers in resolving customer, supplier and operational issues
- Identifying successes and areas for improvement in store operations by examining sales trends, store financial performances, waste and staffing.
- Staying informed on existing and updated operational procedures and acting as an operations resource for Store Managers.
- Working with Human Resource personnel to recruit and hire quality staff – maintained annually
- Lead, train and motivate a team of up to 10 store managers to success
- Conducting annual Store Manager Evaluations and performance management in a timely manner.
- Performing other duties as assigned by Director of Operations and Assistant Director of Operations.
Qualifications Required
- 3 - 5 years of multi-unit food service management experience is required
- Basic computer literacy – Excel, Word, Email
- Experience analyzing financial reports
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Results oriented and a true team leader
- Ability to duplicate systems and procedures
- Excellent time management and planning skills, strong group and individual leadership skills
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively in designated area and work evenings and weekends
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Flexibility to change
- Upbeat, positive personality
- A passion to succeed
- Valid driver's license and must be insurable on rental vehicles
- Fluent in English - French is an asset
