CGI Services to Credit Unions is currently in the process of expanding our National Service Centre in Halifax to provide in-depth support to credit unions for financial application suites. Key roles in the delivery of this service have been identified in one of the service centre areas. The primary role consists of remotely providing effective, efficient, and courteous financial application support to credit unions via telephone.
We are currently sourcing a Support Desk Analyst
Required Work Experience:
- Direct customer service experience.
- Strong process and business skills on web based systems.
Preferred Work Experience:
- Help Desk/Call Centre experience.
- Experience supporting or working with financial applications and web-based systems.
- Experience in a banking environment through support services or as a teller or loans / mortgage specialists.
- Experience as a Business Analyst on financial systems would be considered a strong asset.
- Experience using BMC Remedy will also be considered an asset.
Required Level of Education:
A diploma or degree from a post secondary institution with a concentration in Information Technology, Commerce or Accounting, plus two years work experience in a financial institution, or equivalent experience.
Soft Skills:
Must be a creative, self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills as well as strong oral and written communication skills. The candidate must have the ability to effectively solve problems and operate in a cross functional team-oriented environment.
Other Requirements:
Occasional overtime and on-call work.
May require extended work hours to support west coast clients.
