The National Bank is currently looking for a Manager - Sales and Business Development for its Regional center located in Moncton, New-Brunswick.
Nature of contribution
Reporting to the vice-president, you will act as an expert advisor for sales and business development and will help achieve sales objectives and improve the region's position in the market. You will develop and propose strategies in line with corporate strategies and the strategic orientations of the region. You will provide management with information on the region's performance and competitors' operations.
Main responsibilities
As a Manager - Sales and Business Development, you will be the regional leader in disseminating and applying best business development practices recognized by the Bank. You will develop and propose business development strategies that are consistent with corporate strategies and focused on customers by drawing on the strategic orientations identified by the Vice-President - Sales and Service and his management team.
You will develop the Sales and Development component of the business plan in cooperation with the Regional Vice-President and the Regional Managers based on the orientations formulated by the Vice-President - Sales & Service. You will analyze regional sales performance using such tools as the pipeline, SMS and retention and will propose strategies to the Vice-President - Sales & Service and his management team. You will also provide information on competitor operations to the Vice-President - Sales & Service and his management team, the manufacturers and the team of the Vice-President - Sales & Service. You will represent the region as a business development resource person with manufacturers, support services and business lines.
Requirements
- Completed Bachelor's degree in a related field and six years' relevant experience or completed Master's degree in a related field and four years' relevant experience
- Customer service experience
- Experience in process elaboration, an asset
- Experience in budget management, an asset
- Experience in the branch network, an asset
- Knowledge of financial products and services
- Bilingualism both spoken and written (English and French)
