We are working with this team to find a motivated individual to take on a key support role in the busy office. In this position you will use current insurance industry software to analyze and compare products and pricing available from a variety of potential insurance markets, for both existing and potential clients' personal insurance portfolios. You will also seek and identify opportunities to provide existing clients with additional coverage and products not currently placed within the brokerage. This role will also include some data entry and administrative support as required to meet business needs.
Qualifications for the ideal candidate:
- Post-secondary education in business or related field.
- Must have insurance industry experience, preferably in life or general insurance, with knowledge of home and automobile insurance.
- Interest in working towards an industry designation would be a definite asset.
- Strong skills in MS Word and Excel. Experience with industry software such as PowerBroker and/or Compuquote would be considered an asset.
- Strong research and analysis skills.
- Keen attention to detail, with strong levels of accuracy and efficiency.
- High level of initiative, energy, and a personal drive to succeed.
- Ability and desire to work flexible hours as required to meet the ongoing demands of this growing business.
