Our client, who is an international investment bank is currently looking to recruit Fund Account Managers for their location in Eastern Canada.

Duties include: 

• Management, supervision and training of a team of accounting and administrative staff
• Review of NAV Calculations for a variety of hedge fund portfolios utilizing the full spectrum of strategies
• Preparation of every component of NAV Calculations for complex hedge funds including posting of trades into the fund accounti ng system, pricing of portfolios, accounting for incentive fees, etc.

Required:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• Professional Accounting qualification (CA, CMA, CGA, CPA or equivalent) would be a benefit
• Minimum of 2 years of Accounting experience in a Fund Accounting environment
• A thorough understanding of complex securities such as equities, bonds, forwards, futures, options, swaptions, credit default swaps, mortgage backed securities, etc.
