Essential Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- General knowledge of windows-based applications
- Ability to counter customer decisions to close their accounts – retention strategy
- Extensive knowledge of credit card procedures and handling
- Minimum 2 years in customer service preferably in a call centre environment
- Sales experience would be considered an asset
This position is a front-line Contact Center customer service role. The Escalated Customer Service Agent takes customers’ escalated calls and helpdesk inquiries about their credit card and services. The Escalated Customer Service Agent is responsible for handling hard copy requests submitted by the customer relation's associates, to be researched and followed up if needed. The Agent relies on extensive knowledge to respond to inquiries on a wide number of products and services. The Escalated Customer Service Agent is required to be experts in all areas of American issues. Communication is generally routine.
