Service Technician

Our client, located in Moncton, NB a private business owner is looking to expand their team.  Our client supports sales and services in the Atlantic Canadian market; in the commercial appliance industry.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver excellence in customer service with accurate on time repairs and service
• Solve client problems through all means needed including, consulting manufacturers' service manuals and bulletins
• Use specialized tools and testing devices to locate the source of the problem
• Prepare written estimates for clients on a daily basis as required
• Prepare work orders, complete the necessary reports for billing, and maintain records for parts inventories and future service calls
• Work from schematics as required
• Installation of different devices on an as needed basis on new & existing equipment
• Repair, maintain and adjust system components or remove and replace defective parts
• Consulting with manufacturers service reps as needed

Skills / Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills
• Appliance repair experience
• Refrigeration, Plumbing, Electrical experience
• Natural gas – Propane knowledge (G2 gas ticket or willingness to complete)
• 2+ years in Instrumentation experience is required
• HVAC experience would be considered as an asset

Other:

• 40-44 hours a week with possibility of overtime, flexible schedule
• Competitive hourly wage depending of experience
• Valid drivers license – travel required throughout Atlantic Canada
