We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative for a permanent part-time position within the Quick Pay team in our Halifax location. This position will appeal to someone who has experience in the insurance industry with knowledge of claims processing, eligibility and claims systems, as well as previous customer service experience.
As a member of the team, you:
- enjoy working with the public and are committed to excellent customer service;
- have the ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure of time restraints;
- work well on your own and as a team member;
- possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- are well organized, with excellent time management skills;
- are required to handle and process cash transactions;
- have previous experience with cash deposits, customer service, insurance, medical terminology and data entry;
- will back up the Dartmouth Quick Pay when necessary
Working in a fast paced environment, you will develop a high level of knowledge of Medavie Blue Cross products and services in order to meet the needs of walk-in clients and answer inquiries professionally. Your regularly scheduled hours will be 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Some full time hours will be available on an on-call basis.
