Client Support Analyst

There is and immediate requirement for Client Support Analyst in our Bedford, Nova Scotia office. The successful applicant will need to help our clients in installing the Citrix client on their workstation, using the application, troubleshoot printing problems, connection issues and related hardware/software problems as a part of our team. The position involves 12-hour shifts averaging 3.2 shifts/week. Rotating shifts allow for several days off in a row, but may require transportation for the hours not covered by public transportation. Free parking is provided. Specific opportunities for growth exist in the Product Development and Client Services teams in programming roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to client calls and answer the questions or solve the problems. Document all incoming calls in our CRM system.
  • Demonstrate a caring and attentive attitude with clients.
  • Ensure that project and support objectives are met.
  • Monitor our servers and solve issues if they occur. Perform server maintenance routines. 
  • Train new users. 
  • Actively participate to help our team meet or exceed our clients' expectations.

Required:

  • College or University degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience. 
  • 2+ years experience with Microsoft Windows XP, NT, Microsoft Office. 
  • 2+ years experience with Desktops, Laptops and Servers (NT Terminal Server, Windows 2003 Server).
  • Good knowledge of peripherals and network technologies.
  • Self motivated and participate well within a team.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills. 
  • Good customer relations skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as a part of the team.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • High level of initiative, excellent problem solving skills.
  • Analytical and time management skills.

Would be an asset:

  • Client and team oriented work experience.
  • Previous experience in a support position.
  • Training experience.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with multiple offices.
  • Experience and/or interest in analysis and programming.
  • Database experience.
