Duties: The instructional assistant will assist instructors with the preparation, delivery and evaluation of laboratory and shop sessions, and maintain and update instructional materials. S/he will evaluate student progress and manage the resources of the learning environment. All instructional assistants are expected to contribute to professional and community life within the College and beyond.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have completed an undergraduate degree with a major in Chemistry and have recent relevant experience. Laboratory experience in a post-secondary environment would be a definite asset. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to establish effective working relationships, and have a strong commitment to a student-centred approach.
