We currently have positions in our Procurement Services Department in Calgary, Alberta and St John's, Newfoundland (Hibernia). Positions include both career hires to support base operational requirements and contract positions to support major capital projects. Positions are available for both contract formation and contract administration roles for both services (including EPC) and material/equipment portfolios. Relocation assistance will be provided to the successful candidates.
Procurement Professional Successful applicants provide contracting advice to achieve cost effective operations. They will advise on contracting models, perform contract formation duties, enhancing service relationships, administering existing contracts, developing benchmarks, and continuously improving processes while staying alert to changing market conditions.
Applicants must have a degree in engineering or a business discipline along with 5 to 10 years experience in a contracts/commercial environment. Also required is general knowledge of oil industry operations, including financial and business controls, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment where customer service is paramount. Communication skills (oral and written), interpersonal skills, and proficiency in MS Office are equally necessary.
