Description:

Our client is presently recruiting for Project Managers to join their team in Saint John, New Brunswick. We are seeking senior level, experienced people, able to complete projects in the $50 – 100 million range, in a large petrochemical refinery. The successful applicants will be expected to participate in the finalization of FEED package, including Class 3 estimate. Project start date is expected to be in May – June 2008, and last up to 36 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates will have minimum of 10 years experience in heavy industry, preferably in oil and gas, controlling major projects of a similar size.
• Experience in a brownfield environment in a working refinery preferred.
• Previous experience in a refinery turnaround a definite asset.
• Candidate will be a professional engineer, a certified project manager, or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Experience with an EPC company a definite asset.
• Effective communication skills and interaction with other disciplines, field construction team, supporting consultants and clients are essential.
• Good command of the English language is required.
