petroforma inc. is Newfoundland & Labrador's newest oil & gas services company offering full reservoir analytical services and is the only enterprise east of Alberta with this established capability.  With the increased exploration and development activities offshore Newfoundland & Labrador, we are looking to position ourselves as the reservoir fluids laboratory of choice for the local onshore and offshore operators.  We are also committed to expanding our market to align with the geographical coverage of our sister company (Centre for Marine CNG Inc.).

We have an immediate requirement to add another highly skilled, dedicated and energetic individual to our Team and are looking for a Technical Business Manager.  We need someone who will work to position the Marine CNG and petroforma as leading service providers – in St. John's and around the world.

You have a good understanding of strategic marketing, complimented by a sound technical knowledge of the oil & gas industry.  You have completed a bachelor degree in science or engineering or a diploma of technology in an applicable area.  Over the past five years or more, you have been immersed in the oil & gas industry and have developed a good foundation upon which your knowledge can grow.

The Technical Business Manager will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing a marketing plan;
• Managing preparation and submission of all proposals and bids;
• Contributing to annual planning cycle;
• Managing the business development budget; and
• Supervising the business functions.

The Technical Business Manager is a senior position and will report to the President of petroforma inc.  This position involves international travel and some extended work hours to ensure our growth targets are met.  In return for success, we offer a competitive base salary and benefits package including a variable pay component.
