Origin is currently seeking an experienced professional to step into a key Office Clerk/Order Fulfillment position in its downtown Halifax office. This position is for a one year term to cover a maternity leave.

Position duties will include administrative functions as well as order fulfillment including shipping.  Responsibilities will include but not limited to: order processing, inventory tracking, invoicing, and other office duties. Other responsibilities consist of online order processing, manual shipment of orders daily and database entry and maintenance. The individual will work closely with the manufacturing and the accounting team as well as other team members.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated professional track record of at least 2 years in an office environment. Candidates possessing only warehouse/shipping experience will not be considered. Experience in small to mid-sized business is a considerable plus. The successful candidate will have strong organization and problem solving skills, exceptional attention to detail and excellent computer skills. The individual will foremost possess a high level of common sense and self-motivation in an entrepreneurial environment.
