Our client, a leading international energy provider, is seeking an Executive Assistant for their Dartmouth location. This is a permanent opportunity.
Reporting to the Service Manager and managing all aspects of office administration for this busy organization, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating travel arrangements and scheduling meetings
- Typing and formatting documents such as letters, memos, meeting minutes
- Answering telephones and directing inquiries appropriately
- Managing the office IT network
- Ensuring office supplies are readily available
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Additional projects as required, which could include involvement in the company’s recruitment process
As the ideal candidate, you have a university degree with a focus on business administration and a minimum 5 years progressive experience. Working in a professional culture, you take ownership of your responsibilities to ensure that all staff have the resources they need to do their jobs efficiently. With a confident and mature attitude, you are very flexible and work well independently while appreciating a team-oriented work environment. You are comfortable troubleshooting basic IT issues and contacting appropriate support when necessary. Advanced Microsoft Excel ability and conversational French are considered strong assets.
