Metro Self-Storage is a rapidly growing, locally owned company, with 12 locations in Atlantic Canada.  We are currently recruiting for the following position in our head office in Halifax, Nova Scotia:

Junior Accountant

Reporting to the Controller, the Junior Accountant will assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, account reconciliations, cost accounting and other related duties. The person may also be involved in establishing and monitoring standard operating procedures, managing construction projects, implementing cost control strategies and administration of payroll.

The ideal candidate will have a post secondary education in accounting or finance and will be enrolled in a professional accounting designation program.

This position requires a sense of urgency, the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, excellent communication and problem solving skills, a high attention to detail and the dedication and drive to succeed in a rapidly growing environment.
