By ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day business, the Comptroller will assist in Home Hardware's mission to provide the best product and service to our customers.
What are we looking for in this role?
- Someone who possesses a post-secondary education in office administration and business accounting
- An individual who will prepare financial statements, assemble and maintain information necessary for tax returns, conduct an ongoing audit of charge accounts, supervise payroll preparation, maintain the operating budget, ensure tax obligations are met, secure and maintain licenses to conduct business
- An individual who will be a good role model for office staff and other employees
- Demonstrates excellent basic mathematical skills, communication skills and the ability to work in a team atmosphere
- Someone who will maintain professional confidentiality skills
- A person with the desire to grow and directly contribute to their community and business
