Financial Systems Analyst
(m/f, 40 hrs per week)
4AM AST – 12P AST

This position serves as liaison between Group Finance/Corporate & Trust, the Business Divisions and the Technology Group. The main focus of the role is to consult, analyze, and help develop the financial related applications, processing, reporting, and billing systems used by the Business Groups. Development work may be accomplished either by in-house personnel or external vendors, leading to the effective and efficient delivery of quality solutions for Citco’s offices worldwide. Additional responsibilities include Support of Financial Applications.

Responsibilities:

• Business Process Support - Provide support to management, users, and financial controllers to maintain working knowledge of business rules and documentation of detailed descriptions of business processes as they pertain to the financial applications to ensure accuracy, consistency, legal compliance and data integrity.
• User Request for Enhancements - Document outstanding issues into summary format for periodic communication to the User Group for prioritization and subsequently to Steering Committee and Project Sponsors for approval of priorities. Maintain the database of enhancement requests, issues and bugs, recording status, monitoring progress and acquiring user specifications
• Specifications - Work with the Business Divisions to produce comprehensive business requirements and detailed specifications for existing and new financial functionality, interfaces and reports. Analyze enhancement requests, defects and other issues, translating them into professional financial specifications
• Testing - Provide direction & support to the Business Divisions for User Acceptance Testing, Creation of Test Cases, Coordination & Execution of the Test Plan, End-to-End Integration Testing, contingency planning for roll-back and final sign off.
• Implementation - Coordinate release process with Business Groups for new and improved applications, communicate detailed descriptions of functionality changes and provide follow up support as required
• Production Support - Provide production support for Citco users of all Financial Systems by receiving escalated issues from the internal Helpdesk
• Training - Provide worldwide training. This will require international travel less than 25% of the time.
• Analysis - Provide Financial Business Analysis in order to improve the existing systems and for the creation of new solutions.

Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Background/Qualifications:
• Technical and/or Accounting Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proactive person willing to accept responsibility and provide leadership
• Previous Work Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years related Finance/Financial Accounting experience,
• Minimum of 3 years financial services industry experience
• Minimum of 3 years experience of working with IT development teams 
• Minimum of 3 years of detailed user experience with Financial software or other Financial Accounting package.
• Minimum of 1 years experience with any Time and Billing software is preferred, but not essential.
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience with any Transfer Agency system is preferred, but not essential.
• Minimum of 1 years experience with Business Objects is preferred, but not essential.
• Experience with Coda, iCorp, ViewPoint, OCRA, Consolidation software, Yardi, or Clarity software systems would be a definite plus. 
• Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of accounting and financial reporting
• Demonstrated knowledge in technical aspects of 3rd party vendor applications and interfaces.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skill managing change
• Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills including oral and written English
