Alcool NB Liquor (ANBL) is a Crown Corporation of the Province of New Brunswick with annual sales of $359 million and with a network of 47 retail stores, 70 licensed agency retailers, and a central warehouse.  While responsibly hosting New Brunswick's beverage alcohol experience, ANBL's vision is to be recognized as a high performing retailer, engaging employees in service excellence.

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to fill the position of Payables Analyst.  This is a full-time position with the Financial Services department. Reporting directly to the Manager Financial Services, this position is responsible for the control and administration of Accounts Payable and has the responsibility for the daily processing of expenditures for the organization in accordance with corporate by-laws. This position will be tasked with processing expenditures on time, through weekly cheque runs and electronic funds transfers and processing monthly HST/GST returns for the organization. This position is a key liaison between Alcool NB Liquor and its' employees and network of vendors. The Payables Analyst is responsible to assist with other positions in the department during peak workloads or absences and periodically is required to participate on various projects.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Post secondary education in a discipline of Business Administration or Accounting.  Enrolment in a recognized accounting program would be considered an asset.
  • 2-5 years experience in an accounts payable position or an accounts payable processing position
  • Strong background and knowledge in the processing, recording and payment of invoices.
  • Ability to deal accurately with numerical data
  • Ability to be proactive, propose workable solutions and take responsibility for their actions
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite is required.   
  • Written and spoken competence in English is required. 

Salary:   Range of $37,568 to $48,162 annually.
