Essential Qualifications and Experience

• The successful applicant with a university degree will have or be working towards an accounting designation
• Minimum three to five years experience in a cost accounting environment
• Ability to analyze costing information in highly complex manufacturing processes
• SAP experience in CO/FI will be a valued asset
• Ability to handle pressure in meeting tight deadlines
• Advanced computer skills in Windows environment
• Must be eligible to meet requirement for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and Canadian government security clearances

Description of Duties
Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Compile and analyze EAC (Estimates at Completion) information on various products
• Support Program Management with Sales/Bookings/Cost information with complete analysis for monthly meeting to executive staff
• Produce and analyze internal allocable support activity
• Compile and analyze all cost accounting activity required for Corporate reporting requirements
• Preparation of  5 year plan
• Compiling monthly progress billings
• Process labour cost transfers
