Duties/Responsibilities -- Integration and Test:
- Developing Trial agendas, including acceptance test sheets for that will verify the integration and functionality of the HCM combat system,
- Conducting tests ensuring all data is recorded in Test Management System,
- Work as part of the integration and test team at the LBTS with primary focus being development of trial documentation
HCM NCIOP Training SME:
Training SME works in a team environment within the HCM Training team and shall be responsible for:
- Establishing a detailed understanding with regards to the Navy's NCIOP Training courses/standards
- Performing analysis to determine the Tasks, Knowledge and Skills requiring training
- Performing training design by authoring QSPs, conducting scheduling activities, media analysis
- Authoring Master Lesson Plans, student handouts, instructors guides, quizzes, tests, assignments, presentation materials
- Supporting CBT and operator trainers development through data collections, storyboarding/scripting, reviews, workshops and other related activities
- Liaising with OEMs and Trainer technical staffs in determining requirements for Trainer adaptation.
- Conducting training delivery including lectures, presentations, demonstrations, hands on, assignments, tests, quizzes, marking, and associated administration
- Support the Training Continuous Improvement program by adapting and evolving training materials and documentation based on evaluation and validation activities
Qualifications/Experience: Candidates with 10+ years recent Naval experience with a detailed understanding of the DND training system (CFITES), standards organizations (Training Quality Control and Assurance), NCIOP training, Candidates shall have an operational/technical understanding of the existing Halifax Class CCS and its subsystems. Candidates should also have a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office product suite including MS Project. Applicants will have DND experience as a shipboard operator with minimum 5 yrs serving on a HALIFAX Class frigate and have had at least two years as an instructor at CFNOS/CFFSE. The last posting at the training establishment will have occurred within the last 5 years. Training and experience with course scheduling, QSP development, training materials authoring, training conduct, and operator trainers is a must. The applicant must have strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
