POSITION SUMMARY
The Desktop Support Specialist will be responsible for providing first and second level support to all service delivery systems in the Halifax site. The successful candidate will need to be able to troubleshoot hardware (PC/laptop and other peripherals) and software related issues.
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Computer Systems or related technical discipline
- Two years hardware and software experience in troubleshooting PC, laptop and peripherals
- Worked in a MS Exchange/Outlook environment
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work/learn as part of a team required
ADDITIONAL ASSETS
- Experience with Remedy and Norton Ghost software
- Knowledge and familiar with BlackBerry Enterprise Server and devices
- Comprehension and experience with Linux Operating Systems
