Computer Programmer II
Permanent, Full-time

Duties:

The successful applicants will be responsible for programming, application development and will act as resource persons for users of various software packages. The incumbent will also be responsible for trouble shooting problems with both hardware and software. Duties will include report writing and application support on the Hospital's Meditech Information System as well as industry standard programming tools such as Crystal, Visual Studio Net, Visual Basic, Microsoft Access, etc.

Qualifications:

Graduation from high school or equivalent. Successful completion of (minimum three (3) year consecutive program) a Computer Science Studies program from a recognized technical college or graduation from university with a Computer Science degree. A minimum of two (2) years applicable experience and experience in industry standard programming techniques as well as the implementation and maintenance of PC based software products is required. Experience with Meditech Systems would be considered an asset.

A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
   
Hours of Work: 75 hours bi-weekly

Salary: HS-34 ($25.32 - $28.22 per hour)
