| Job Description |
The CIOB is presently planning the integration of the 2 current tracking systems into one. The new system will be called Substances Information Management System (SIMS). CIOB doesn't have the required staff to develop and merge both systems into SIMS. - Must implement and test SIMS Conceptual Business Models.
- Must implement and test of SIMS Business Objects.
- Must implement and test of SIMS UI Components
- Must develop the shell services to support SIMS.
- Must perform all Quality Testing and Quality Control related to SIMS development and other activities.

| Responsibilities |
- Must optimise the Security, Memory and Data payload for the SIMS application.
- Must provide technical assistance to developers when development issues are raised.
- Must provide technical documentation throughout each step of the SDLC
- Must verify accuracy and completeness of SIMS Application Modules by preparing sample data, and testing them by means of system acceptance test runs made by operating personnel.
- Must correct program errors by revising instructions or altering the sequence of operations.
- Must test instructions, and assemble specifications, flow charts, diagrams, layouts, programming and operating instructions to document applications for later modification or reference.

- Must produce forms, manuals, programs, data files, and procedures for SIMS and Related Application Modules.
- Must analyse and recommend alternatives and options for solutions.
- Must analyze and evaluate alternative technology solutions to meet business problems.
- Must ensure the integration of all aspects of technology solutions.
- Must evaluate existing procedures and methods, identify and document database content, structure, and application sub-systems, and develop data dictionary.
Skill Set Required: Advanced .Net Specialists:
Essential Asset 1) 10+ years of professional IT experience 2) 5+ years experience as an intermediate Programmer/Analyst Role 3) Advanced and recent (in past 3 years) experience with: 3a) .Net Framework 2.0 3.0 3.5 3b) Windows presentation foundation 3c) Windows Communication foundation 3d) NET Framework Code Access Security 3e) Winform Development and Deployment 3f) Object Oriented Principles 3g) SQL 2005 3h) SQL Server Reporting Services 4) A valid enhanced reliability security clearance at the time of the bid response deadline. - Technical team experience - Infragistic - Code Smith - Windows Workflow Foundation- - MS Visual Studio 2008 - - MS Team Foundation Server - Asp.net |
